I have finally finished all the artwork which includes 5 wall paintings on wood:-
1. Bird of Peace
2. Cross - set against a vibrant sky
3. Essence of a Rose
4. Fish - Christian symbol on sea
5. Plaque of Our Lady's & St. Teresa's School surrounded by handprints of Reception children
6. Mosaic wall plaque to sit at the front of the grotto housing a statue of Our Lady
7. Invocation prayer to St. Teresa in mixed media on perspex.
The Bishop of Coventry will come to bless the prayer garden at 1.30pm on Tuesday 28 March 2011. All welcome.
Finishing touches are being carried out with planting etc. to ensure that the garden will be a beautiful place for the children to sit and reflect in. It has been a wonderful journey so far and we can't wait to see it all completed in its glory for the 28th. Photos will be posted of the event!
